Join Carrie of Green Garden Mama for a custom wreath making event at the Prairie Food Coop on December 4th!
PFC is located at 837 S Westmore-Meyers Road, Lombard, just east of the DMV.
We will meet at 6pm to create your own customized wreath using mostly locally harvested materials, including fresh greens and dried flowers. Additional details like ribbons will also be available. All materials and tools will be provided, but the greens can be sticky and prickly, so a bringing a pair of gardening/work gloves is recommended.
Wreaths with dried flowers are best kept indoors to preserve the flowers, but if you opt for greens only, then they can be used both indoors and out!
Wreath making sessions typically last about 90 minutes, but we will have up until 8pm if needed to finish up.
