Green Garden Mama is a small-scale flower farm in north Lombard. We grow on multiple rented backyard spaces, currently totalling approximately .5 acre, and expand every season. We grow following organic and regenerative practices as much as possible, never use herbicides or pesticides, reduce our plastic use as much as possible, and try to respect our local ecology as we farm. We grow a variety of annual crops and have fresh flowers available from early February (indoor forcing program) until mid-October. With the exception of our small indoor forcing program, all our flowers are field grown. We sell mostly wholesale to florists, but do have a small retail program including several CSA options as well as individual bouquet sales.
