Kelgai Ann Dahlia Tuber
Kelgai Ann Dahlia Tuber
These waterlily blooms can be tricky to harvest at just the right stage, as they tend to blow open quickly in heat. I found harvesting a little more closed was the secret, as they would open a little more in the vase for me. A plant with thinner stems overall, but puts out long stems with uniquely beautiful blooms. Color changes somewhat throughout the season, with some blooms being nearly white and some having much more pink.
Grows about 4 feet tall in my field.
This listing is for 1 tuber, that should have visible, swollen, or slightly growing eyes. They can be planted outdoors after all risk of frost, or started indoors a few weeks before your last frost in a 6" pot, as long as you can provide supplemental light.
Where to buy Kelgai Ann dahlia tubers? You can buy them right here at Green Garden Mama! We typically have dahlia tubers for sale in January each year, and ship in April as long as the weather is safe for shipping.
