Purple Bearded Iris

This super hardy perennial flower blooms early, usually in late May. Prefers full sun, but will tolerate some shade - less sun may mean fewer blooms. Moist soil is preferred as well. When planting, make sure not to bury the rhizomes too deep. Each pot will contain several rhizomes that can be planted in a single clump or divided and spread apart, and allowed to fill in over time.
